Micheall Reed and John Duncan
With only one acoustic show scheduled on 'The Hill' this summer, Patti and I are jazzed about Micheall Reed and John Duncan performing this Friday. They specialize in true classic acoustic hits, mostly from the 1960’s and 70’s. The duo has performed acoustic shows around Greater Cincinnati for over four years. They feature some of the best acoustic music that ranges from the Beatles, to James Taylor, and many hit songs seldom heard. Every number they perform is an easily recognized hit, so singing along is not a problem. Should be a great night. http://www.micheallreed.com/music.php

Shane and Chad Smith 'The Split Gig'
Wow. This is a first for 'The Hill'. Not only do we have two bands sharing the same gig, but the guys are brothers, whose musical passions are polar opposites. Shane Smith is a country music singer/songwriter with 15 years experience and influences like Chesney and Strait. Shane's brother Chad is lead singer and lead guitarist along with Michael Chandler in a rock band called Straight Jacket Fashion, with influences like Matchbox 20 and Allison Chains. Should be a fun, musically diverse gig.

Michela
Unbelievable..the result of another open mic session on The Hill. Patti and I are jazzed about having Kelly help close the season for us. Having grown up in Georgetown, Kelly has been singing with her family in front of crowds since she was old enough to stand. She blew us away last summer when singing as a stand-in for another performer. Now she stages like she has been singing professionally for years. With influences like Patti Griffin, Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell, this singer/songwriter's bluesey folk/rock style will blow you away as well.
