Year End Marketing = Your Job

December 15th, 2006 by Narendra

As 2006 winds down, a number of prominent blogs start to post their favorite applications and new companies for this year. We’ve been busting our tails all year and have no intention of stopping so we need your help.

Go out and let folks know about all the eye-openers we have been churning out this year!

Here’s a partial list of the things that we are really proud of:

  • pioneering the One Box and intelligent event creation — way before Google ;-)
  • pro-active personalization when you sign up
  • sharing and permissions based on tags
  • remote themes for 30 Boxes
  • Webtop
  • superb To Do list
  • Buddy Cards and identity management/aggregation, people searchom/2006/12/08/the-social-
  • Truthiness
  • 30 Boxed - mashups and widgets
  • Blog Timeline for WordPress
  • Buddy Updates — way before Facebook’s news feed ;-)
  • Supermail — email that reports back (oops, we haven’t event announced it yet!)
  • and, one killer calendar

Here are some places you can make some noise. Read/WriteWeb is looking for Best Web Companies and Innovators for 2006 which includes one for Best Little Company. 30B is only 3 people!

Pete Cashmore at Mashable is hosting the Social Networking Awards 2006. We’re pretty happy with our position as a social network designed for smaller, more intimate groups based on truly useful applications!

Gina at Lifehacker has already tapped Google Calendar (zzzzzzz), but it’s not too late for you to chime in.

Be on the lookout for others.

So, if you have enjoyed the evolution of 30B, go out and be heard. I have to get back to coding!

I need stickers to put on my laptop. I would even buy a tee-shirt.

Oooh, I see Twitter integration. :)

Yeah, schwag would be nice — I’d buy a tee, too. Meanwhile I’ll vote and digg.
