Friday QuotablesNovember 3rd, 2006 by Narendra |
I love the way Signal vs. Noise has a great rythmn to it with weekly and recurring themes like “Screens Around Town.” On that score, I’m going to try out something weekly (and hope it sticks).
We’re calling it “Friday Quotables” and it is just that: recent stuff heard on the Web. This week we are going to do some self-promoting!
“The good folks at 30 Boxes have gone and created one of the coolest WordPress plugins I’ve seen in a long while.” -Andy Skelton (one of the top WordPress and now WordPress.com wizards)
Aside: We have opened the beta on 30 Boxes Buddy Cards. WordPress users can download here.
I’ve stopped using Google Calendar because it’s too clunky, slow and unreliable. I’m using the far simpler 30boxes. -Max from London (in a post entitled “Messy Splits”)
The webtop is particularly lovely. -Dep (from GUI Hacking with Firefox and 30Boxes)
Aside: anyone who can break off “lovely” as a way to describe software will get some pub!
That’s all folks. Have a great weekend — we will be coding and releasing…

The reason signal v. noise is so well read is that it is not 100% self-promotion, like this post was. I’d be interested in quotes about actual stuff that you found interesting for some reason. I really don’t care about what folks are saying about you.

That’s why I used the caveat! We’ll have some diversity next week :-)

Ignore me. I’m testing how buddy cards works.

Oh, you aren’t using it. Sorry, I just assumed.
