30B AppAugust 5th, 2006 by Narendra |
Chip Cuccio has put together a slick little downloadable app for Macs that opens up 30Boxes in a window as if it were a desktop application. He is offering up the source code as well. Chip has produced some others for gcal and netvibes and is also working on a broader platform called webkit.
You can get the same result with the tiny “full webtop” link at the top of your calendar, but this app gives you an icon on your desktop and dock.
There are some minor issues with webtop–seems the mail icon can’t yet open a window and some sites may not work in framed windows (I was trying a very cool new experiment called mooglets.)

Windows users could always try NetJaxer for the same effect.
