Color Those Tags!April 26th, 2006 by Nick |
A lot of folks asked for this feature, and it really does add a lot of functionality to your calendar.
Under the “Find” menu, you’ll see a list of tags you’ve used. Click the little color box next to the tag to pick a color, and all events with that tag will use that color in the background.
If you haven’t been tagging your events, this is a good excuse to start!

This is epic. I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while.
Great job. My only suggestion is to line up multi-day events.

Ok, the last thing required for me to switch back from Google Calendar is a flexible repeating events option. Google’s is pretty good…can you guys just duplicate it? :)
A nice feature would be a new theme…now that I think about it, gcal has a pretty good one! :) Strong colors, rounded corners, etc…

I really like that when I click on a tag name, I get a summary list now. The tagging color is a really good idea.

This is great. now if only we could have buddy calendars colored in different colors (rather than the faded view we currently have)

Cool, thanks. Now I’d like to have webcals their own tags, so I can differentiate those events comes from each webcal.

I agree, this is a great addition. I don’t mean to say “Gee, thanks, but can I please have xxx” — but..
Two suggestions would be: colors buddy calendars (as SS VVV says) but also choosing a color for subscribed calendars..

error on adding Gray background to my Orange tags led to this view of the calendar.
undoing it and refreshing the page set it back to normal.

I have ‘fête’ has a tag, and it seems to forget the tag color all the time. My ASCII tag colors work great.
